How to clean with special cleaning tablets

Ourlyard® denture cleaning tablets were specially developed for denture wearers to make cleaning and caring for your dentures particularly easy. Each tablet contains a powerful stain-removing formula that thoroughly cleans the denture surface – reliably removing food residue and plaque, keeping your dentures clean and hygienic.

The unique effervescent tablet formula removes even stubborn stains, provides fresh breath and helps reduce bacteria in the mouth.

• Place a cleaning tablet in warm water and let your dentures soak for 15-20 minutes.
• After cleaning, rinse the prosthesis thoroughly with clean water.
• Then carefully dry the denture – for a clean, shiny and comfortable result.

Use of custom-made prostheses

1. Unpacking and Inspection:
   Carefully remove your Ourlyard® prosthesis from the packaging. Check the prosthesis for any visible defects and ensure it is clean before first use.
2. Warm the prosthesis for a better fit:
   Prepare a bowl of warm water (not boiling, approximately 70–80°C). Place the prosthesis in it for 1–2 minutes. This will soften the medical-grade natural rubber material and make it easier to mold.
3. Adjust to your mouth shape:
   Carefully remove the dentures from the water and shake off any excess water. Place the dentures in your mouth and adjust them comfortably to your gums and teeth. Bite down gently with moderate pressure for approximately 30 seconds to achieve a customized fit. Additionally, use your fingers to gently press the dentures onto your gums to ensure a secure fit.
4. Cooling and setting:
   After fitting, remove the denture and rinse it with cold water to lock in the molded fit. After cooling, the denture will retain its individual shape and adapt perfectly to your mouth structure.
5. Adjust as needed:
   If the fit isn't yet optimal, repeat steps 2 through 4 until the prosthesis feels comfortable and secure. The prosthesis can be reshaped multiple times without compromising its durability.
6. Enjoy the perfect fit:
   Once adjusted, your Ourlyard® prosthesis offers a comfortable, firm hold with natural suction power – for a secure and comfortable fit all day long.
